ASR LR specs and FAQ

Applies to: ASR LR 29" frames, model year 2027 and newer.

The ASR LR is the ASR frame built around a longer 130mm fork, giving slightly slacker geometry. The ASR LR uses the same frame standards as the ASR, so part fit, shock, and warranty answers are the same as the ASR. This article covers what is different on the ASR LR and lists its frame specs.

How the ASR LR differs from the ASR

What is the difference between the ASR and the ASR LR?

The ASR LR uses the same frame and rear suspension as the ASR, with 115mm of rear travel. The difference is the fork: the ASR LR geometry is built around a 130mm fork (541mm axle-to-crown), while the ASR geometry is built around a 120mm fork (531mm axle-to-crown). The longer fork makes the ASR LR slightly slacker and taller at the front.

What is the ASR LR geometry?

Compared with the ASR, the ASR LR has:

  • Head tube angle: 66.0 to 66.1 degrees (ASR: 66.5)
  • Effective seat tube angle: 74.9 to 75.0 degrees (ASR: 75.5)
  • Reach: 395, 415, 440, 460, 485mm for XS to XL (5mm shorter than the ASR in every size)
  • Stack: 595, 596, 603, 614, 634mm for XS to XL
  • Wheelbase: 1126, 1148, 1179, 1205, 1241mm for XS to XL
  • Estimated bottom bracket height: 338 to 339mm
  • Chainstay length: 433 to 441mm, the same as the ASR

Full geometry for every size is in the ASR owner's manual.

What fork does the ASR LR use?

The ASR LR is designed around a 130mm travel fork with a 541mm axle-to-crown. The frame is tested to a maximum axle-to-crown of 555mm, so you can run up to a 140mm fork.

ASR LR setup, parts, and warranty

What sag should I run on the ASR LR?

Start the ASR LR at 30% sag, which is 12mm of shock stroke. Set sag at your normal riding weight with your gear on. The Yeti shock setup calculator gives starting settings for your shock.

Where can I find other ASR LR answers?

Because the ASR LR uses the ASR frame, answers about dropper posts, water bottles, chainrings, rotors, tires, coil shocks, Flight Attendant, remote lockouts, max system weight, and replacement parts are the same as the ASR. See ASR specs and FAQ.

What is the warranty on the ASR LR?

The ASR LR frame has a lifetime manufacturer's warranty against defects for the original purchaser from an authorized Yeti Cycles dealer. Paint and finish are covered for 1 year. Yeti will repair or replace, at its discretion, any frame it finds defective. To use the warranty, register your bike online at yeticycles.com and take it to an authorized Yeti Cycles dealer for processing. The warranty does not cover ordinary wear and tear, neglect, or intentional damage. See the Yeti Cycles Warranty for full terms.
